Minimalist, modular, innovative

The Auberlitys concept is unique. We design minimalist, timeless clothing, designed to last, but modular and customizable, in particular through recyclable 3D printed collectibles. Advantages:

- Upgrade your clothes rather than replacing them. Keep the minimalist textile part, only change the recyclable 3D customization for a renewed and strong look, without overconsuming;

- Optimize your closets with X-in-1 clothes;

Circular

Auberlitys is committed to protecting the environment. Beyond its minimalist modular concept, which in itself allows responsible consumption, Auberlitys selects its materials responsibly, with eco-design at heart:

- the textile parts are upcycled, made from deadstock fabrics from luxury houses.

- Customizations are printed in 3D, an additive technology that avoids material loss. They are recyclable, and are developed in a flexible, resistant, soft material suitable for contact with the skin

Our history

Auberlitys was created in 2022 by Aurélie Clarys. "Auberlitys" is a mix between the name of the founder and the name of her cat, Alberto. Indeed, in 2018, Aurélie is an engineer in Paris and is going through a rough time. Her sister decides to offer her a kitten, Alberto, which she has adopted for her. It's love at first sight, and a whiplash. Aurélie decides to fight for happiness. She moves to London, lands a job at Google, but above all decides to reconnect with her lifelong passion: fashion. She takes evening fashion design classes at Central Saint Martins, then at ESMOD when she returns to Paris in 2021. She discovers 3D printing, its applications to clothing, Ted Talks from expert designers in the field... Her ecological awareness grows as the crises we face. She starts reading about the problem of textile waste, which particularly affects her. For her, fashion is an art, which must remain a means of expression, a vector of creativity, an inspiration, but which must find answers adapted to the urgency of the current ecological situation. She decides to take up the challenge, and to create a brand that looks like her: her passion for fashion, French designers, quality and attention to detail, mixed with her "nerd" inspirations developed during her years as an engineer in tech, and her ecological conscience.

Auberlitys was born. Its modular nature reflects the different facets that make us, which can be assembled or disassembled depending on the circumstances, and make us unique. The feline inspiration is a tribute to Alberto, an ode to the quest for self and fulfillment, to the love that drives us to show courage and to become a better version of ourselves, which shapes us (Au- ber-li-t-ys).

  • #modular

    We design modular clothing.

    What does it mean ? the sleeves are detachable, interchangeable. The bottoms are all convertible into at least two lengths. Each top can be combined with any bottom in a jumpsuit, dress or playsuit, with or without sleeves, linked by a 3D printed patterned belt. Be creative and create a unique style!

    Why ? the modular nature of the garments has many advantages, including:

    - eco-friendly - convert your clothes to change your style or adapt to the season, instead of repurchasing new ones. This allows you to consume more responsibly. Lots of possible assemblies, for a lesser quantity of fabric!

    - inclusive - the evolving nature of our modular clothing allows all body types to find what they are looking for!

    - creative - have fun, change your style, outfit, without cluttering up your cupboards and with a lower environmental impact!

    The belts, and the parts for attaching the sleeves and converting the bottoms, are made of TPU, thanks to a 3D printer. We use recent and state-of-the-art technologies in the field, in order to produce high quality parts: solidity, soft and aesthetic texture, practicality... To do this, we are accompanied by an expert design office in the field. The use of 3D printing enables on the one hand to avoid the loss of material, and on the other hand to have a great flexibility of design.

    We offer many patterns, more or less showing the skin, and eventually even hope to launch partnerships or collaborative pattern design. Stay tuned!

  • #ethics

    As we have seen, the Auberlitys model is ecological. But Auberlitys is also a brand with many values: respect for workers, local production, inclusiveness, animal protection, feminism... Auberlitys is therefore a vegan brand , which surrounds itself with trusted partners who share its values, and is committed to doing its maximum to promote them!
